The Matchday 6 fixture of the 2025/26 Conference League group stage between Slovan Bratislava (Slovakia) and Häcken (Sweden) will take place on December 18 at Tehelné pole. Slovan Bratislava – Häcken: prediction and betting odds, statistics.
Slovan Bratislava
The Slovaks travelled to Shkëndija in the last round and suffered a 0-2 defeat to the Balkan side. It was their fourth loss in the current group stage and it is no surprise the team sit outside the top 24. The club can no longer reach the play-offs regardless of the result in the upcoming game. In addition, Bratislava have lost seven of their last eight Conference League matches (one win).
- Both teams scored in 8 of Slovan's last 11 matches in this competition.
- Slovan are unbeaten in 10 of their last 13 home Conference League matches (five wins and five draws).
- Exactly two or three goals were scored in five of Slovan's last six home games in this competition.
Probable Slovan Bratislava lineup (3-4-3)
Dominik Takáč – Kenan Bajrić, Kevin Wimmer, Guram Kashia – Rahim Ibrahim, César Blackman, Peter Pokorný, Sandro Cruz – Vladimir Weiss, Nino Marchetti, Róbert Mak.
Defenders Andres Dumitrescu and Michal Leibl, midfielder Matej Mikulenka and forward Yunus Muritala will miss the match through injury.
Häcken
The Swedes have also collected just three points and, with one round remaining in the group stage, have lost any chance of finishing in the top 24. In the previous round the side still had hope of reaching the play-offs but were held 1-1 at home by Cypriot AEK. As a result, the club head into the final matchday without a win in this group stage (three draws and two defeats).
- The club have won just one of their last 10 Conference League matches (four draws and five defeats).
- Both teams scored in 11 of Häcken's last 13 games in this competition.
- At least three goals were scored in nine of the Swedes' last 13 Conference League matches.
Probable Häcken lineup (4-3-3)
Etrit Berisha – Julius Lindberg, Filip Helander, Marius Lode, Adam Lundkvist – Simon Gustafson, Silas Andersen, Mikkel Damsgaard Rygor – Isak Brusberg, Amor Layouni, Adrian Svanbek.
Defender Antonio Milić and midfielders Radoslav Murawski and Gísli Þórðarson are sidelined.

Slovan Bratislava vs Häcken: Match Prediction
Neither side has any tournament motivation for the upcoming fixture. For that reason I favour the Slovaks, who at least will be playing at home. The Scandinavians finished their domestic season a month ago and will therefore be playing their final match of the year; the Häcken players will effectively already be on holiday and I do not expect them to be at their best in a meaningless game.
It is also worth noting that the Swedes have not won away in the Conference League for five matches, in which they have drawn twice and lost three times. Slovan, despite a poor group stage, have been reasonably solid at home — they have suffered only three defeats in their previous 13 home European matches. Therefore, with a degree of caution, my prediction: Slovan Bratislava with a 0 handicap
* Each team's starting XI is taken from their previous match in this competition.
